Job Title: Resort Receptionist
Job Summary:
As a resort receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting our resort. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, checking them in/out, and assisting them with any inquiries or requests they may have. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, making reservations, and processing payments.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the resort and ensure a smooth check-in process.
Provide guests with information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, resolving any issues or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate guest records, including personal information, payment details, and special requests.
Process guest payments and deposits accurately and efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner, directing inquiries to the appropriate department if necessary.
Assist with reservations, including booking accommodations, restaurants, and activities.
Coordinate with other resort staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
